USCIS Runs Random Selection Process for H-1B Visas

USCIS has issued a notice stating that it conducted the random selection process for the H-1B visa master cap and regular cap numbers on April 14, 2008. USCIS received approximately 163,000 H-1B petitions during the first five days of the filing period for the 2009 fiscal year.  USCIS will issue a receipt notice for the petitions randomly selected for full adjudication by June 2, 2008.
